It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a small trailer or camper.As you can see I'm visible in the towing mirror but not the factory mirror. The towing mirror has two mirrors. The larger one is going to give us an accurate view of what's behind us while the smaller one is going to act as a spot mirror. more

If I take a few steps in towards my trailer, as you can see, there's no blind spot by the way we have it set up. But here's the view you get with just your factory mirror.The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees so if you like that horizontal position for a different view, you have that option. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2003 Nissan Xterra- Video
Today on our 2003 Nissan Xterra we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. It offers a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass or park while towing a trailer. The mirror can be adjusted at any angle, and by simply removing the Phillips head screw at the back we can rotate it to the vertical position. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror and we can still rotate it in. The mirror itself measures 7 and 3/4s of an inch long and 5 and 1/8th of an inch wide. I'm here at the passenger side of my Xterra and to begin our test fit we'll need to first turn our mirror over, and we need to make sure that the tabs here are pulled all the way out. more

Today on our 2003 Nissan Xterra we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Universal Bar Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. It's going to offer us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. The mirror can be rotated 360 degrees, and adjusted to any angle. The rod attaching to the mirror can be adjusted out for your towing needs. By loosening up the thumb screw back here, we can adjust the mirror anywhere along the bar. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, and we can still rotate it in. more
